Thanks for shopping at 90 The Original. Here's how we get your order to you.
Where we ship
We ship anywhere the U.S. Postal Service goes — that means the United States and most international destinations.
At checkout you can choose between USPS and UPS. We default to USPS because it's cheaper and reliable enough for almost everything we send, but UPS is there if you'd prefer it.
How fast we ship
We process and ship Monday through Friday, excluding USPS holidays.
Most orders go out within 1–2 business days of purchase. During busy periods (drops, restocks, holidays) it can take up to 10 business days. If a specific product has a longer lead time, we'll say so on the product page.
Once your order ships, you'll get a tracking number by email and on your order confirmation page.
Shipping costs
U.S. apparel orders:
- Free U.S. shipping on apparel orders $65 and up (the B-Side Bonus 🚚)
- Below $65, USPS or UPS rates calculate at checkout based on weight and destination
U.S. book orders:
- Books-only U.S. orders ship via USPS Media Mail (the cheap rate USPS reserves for books and media)
- Mixed orders (books + apparel) ship together in one regular USPS package — Media Mail is books-only, so once apparel is in the box the whole package goes regular rate
- The B-Side Bonus free-shipping threshold applies to the apparel portion only
International (anywhere outside the U.S.):
- All international orders — apparel, books, or both — ship via regular USPS international (Media Mail is U.S.-only)
- Rates calculate at checkout based on destination and weight
- We pass through carrier rates with no markup
International customs and import duties
When your package arrives in your country, your local customs may charge import duties, VAT, or handling fees. These are set by your country, not by us — we don't see the money and we can't predict the amount.
The shipping you pay at checkout covers transport from the U.S. only. Customs charges are separate and are the customer's responsibility.
If you get hit with a customs charge that feels off, send us a photo of the notice — we can sometimes help you understand what's being charged and why.
Books — a couple of rules to know
- One copy per book, per order. You can mix different titles in the same order, but only one copy of each. This keeps our small bookstore from getting wiped out by resellers.
- Books are final sale. No returns on books. See the Refund policy for details.
- Damaged-on-arrival books are an exception — email us with a photo and we'll make it right.
Packaging
Apparel ships in dark stretch mailers. Smaller items (stickers, pins, postcards, patches) go in bubble envelopes. Most orders include a packing slip and sometimes a little extra — a postcard, a thank-you note, something we thought you'd like.
Lost or damaged packages
Carrier mishaps happen. We can't control what USPS or UPS does with a package once it leaves our hands, but we'll always help you sort it out.
Damaged in transit: Email us at orders@90theoriginal.com with photos of the damage. We'll send a replacement or refund — your call.
Lost in transit: Email us. For lost U.S. packages, we can help you file with USPS or UPS and provide whatever documentation the carrier needs. For international, we'll work with you on the next step (often a re-send is faster than chasing the original).
Marked delivered but not received: Check with your local USPS or UPS office first — sometimes packages are scanned early or held for pickup. If that doesn't turn it up, email us and we'll follow up with the carrier on our end.
A few things we don't currently offer
- In-person pickup — we're a small online operation, no storefront
- Expedited or priority shipping — not available right now
- Subscription boxes — paused while we figure out international shipping fairly
